New/Old Pictures - Christmas

We stayed home for Christmas Day and celebrated with Joe and his son Andrew. The next day we traveled to Oregon for a couple day in Sisters and a couple days with my sister (and other family members) :) We had a great time playing in the snow, playing with baby Chase, and just hanging with family.

A Deep Breath

Did you ever have a day when you were sure nothing was going to go right? That you just wanted the day to be over because tomorrow has to be better than today? I had a bit of a day like that today. Nothing earth shattering or horrendous, just several disappointments that tired me out. And then, when I was ready to turn in and try to sleep it off, a couple moments of brightness from a couple of my favorite people. Not perfection, just a reminder that while life is hard, it is certainly worth it.
