CHAPTER 4 IS DONE!!!!!

Sad Day

My wonderful new phone is no longer with us. It took a dive into the toilet, and struggled for life for a while, but eventually gave up the ghost. Because of this, if you've tried to call me on that number, I haven't answered. If you left a message, I haven't responded. I also am unable to call you if you don't live in my town, because I used the cell phone for long distance calls. I'm going to the Verizon store tomorrow to see if it can be resuscitated, but am not holding out much hope. Guess it's back to the old phone once again.

Saturday plans up in smoke

Jordan and I were going to go to the beach today. I had it all planned out to do computer work in the morning, then print out some stuff to work on at the beach while Jordan played in the waves. Unfortunately, the same Santa Ana winds that made it warm at the beach started some fires pretty close to here. We got to Corona and saw a huge tower of smoke ahead of us and the traffic was way slow, so we turned around (and passed Corona fire trucks rushing on to help) and went back home where I napped and Jordan did crafts. I did get some more work done today, and I think we'll go to the library tomorrow so I can get the rest of my work done. I'm sending something to my adviser on Wednesday. No really, I am!

Christmas?

Last week the brakes went out on my car and we had to go in after school and get them fixed. Fortunately, the shop is across from the mall, so Jordan and I had fun exploring, drinking Starbucks, and coming up with a Christmas list. I put all the ideas she came up with in my handy dandy new phone and will now share them with you (and yes, I know it's not even Thanksgiving, but the list is made, so deal with it).
